Parents Fall 2024

 Welcome Parents,

We have classes from KinderPrep through High School and hope that we can be of assistance to you in the adventure of homeschooling. We have a full roster of classes for you to choose from and a limited study hall available if a student has a break in between classes that have been chosen. As parents are their children's primary teacher they are ultimately responsible for the education and grading process and maintaining necessary follow-through on assignments. To aid you we have up to high school level text books and teachers provide a plan including offsite work giving students the opportunity to put in the time and effort for the classes to be credit worthy.

REACH is a modified co-op and some amount of parent participation is required. This can be done in many different levels and ways. Volunteering to help in the nursery or specific classrooms for an hour, being available as a substitute teacher and helping to tidy the school space at the end of the day are all great ways to help. Please remember that we all need to work together to make REACH the best it can be!

While parents are their children's life coach and primary source of learning; currently we are able to come along side and offer Christian-based classes where the project/teacher preparation and planning have been done for you. The parent will need to oversee some follow-through on assignments and ensure their student is prepared for class. The classes are designed to provide a place where the academic experience is rich, full of hands-on projects, and where different learning styles can be stimulated. We wish to inspire a desire for learning. Parents can use these classes to supplement their educational plans at home, or expand on them as they wish.

If you have any questions, please email us at the address below under Location and Communication.

We have been blessed with a great facility that allows us to offer several things to parents when they stay on campus:

1. Nursery room available for teacher's children and siblings of children in class whose parents are on site. If you use the nursery and are not helping elsewhere, please find time to take a turn in the nursery.

2. Study Hall: Very limited this year. Please let us know if your child(ren) will need to make use of the space.

Grace Notes:

Our co-op is committed to making the learning experience positive and productive. When there are disruptions to this, we may offer Grace Notes as loving reminders of this co-op commitment.
  • Understanding that we are all saved by grace; when we offer a word of correction to others we will strive to do so graciously and gently, with the goal of serving and restoring them. Not beating them down. (Prov. 12:18; Eph. 4:29; Gal. 6:1).
  • For any of us approached with correction; we will ask God to help us resist prideful defensiveness and welcome correction with humility (Ps. 141:5; Prov. 15:32).
  • When others repent, we will ask God to give us grace to forgive them as he has forgiven us (Eph. 4:32).
